Introductions

Good morning,
I would genuinely like to know a little about everyone who actually reads this page. I can see that I have readers in the US, the UK, Europe, and elsewhere.
If you wish and would be so kind, just say "Hi" here under Comments, and maybe, should you feel so inclined, say a bit about yourself. If you are disinclined to do so, then that is fine too.
God bless you all, and have an excellent day.
+Aaron Michael

  2. I am one of your fans and supporters, of your quest to understand life and God. EVERYBODY has their own individual relationship with the Almighty even if they don't know or recognize it. I applaud your effort! And I have learned a few things from you along the way. I am proud to have you as my son, and glad that you have Gods blessings in this life to seek to know him as part of you journey.

    1. Mike (Dad) :-) Thanks for all of your love and support. I really appreciate that you read this regularly and that we have opportunities to discuss things. I owe a lot of my spiritual development to you and Patty, and to God I am thankful to you both. +Blessings+

  3. Hi, Aaron, it's Alysoun. I remain in awe of your moral courage... not many people possess it. God, for me, even as a Wiccan, is best defined as Bishop Spong defines God: "the ground of Being." No anthropomorphism at all, no human-like personality, simply the ... Higgs field, if you will accept a physics metaphor.. that allows for existence TO exist.

    1. Alisoun- I appreciate your being here. I have long maintained that God is not an old man with a long beard and a long white robe, but rather that God simply IS. Thanks for the support, and may our friendship only grow stronger in the eyes of the Divine.

  4. Hi...I am originally from NC...now live in FL...married to one of your best friends...went to church at a Freewill Baptist church (that was wonderful) until I was 11...when my mom's mom died, and my mom decided to go back to church...then went to an independent, fundamental Baptist church (that was horrible) until young adulthood. Now non-denominational...and love it. No matter what I've been through with church, and some of it has been really bad, I have always known that God is not like people, so I have never walked away from my relationship with him. I do however have a lot of lingering "people issues" from the IFBC...and it causes me to over-react to things that happen to me...to honestly believe that people don't like me/hate me, and would really rather NOT have me around...thus the um...issues we've had occasionally, Arin...I'm sorry for my issues...but, whether it scares you or makes you feel better...I am much better than I used to be...and I do consider you my friend...even if you cringe when you see me coming. ;-)

    1. Thank you for your candid honesty Tammy, and thank you for being here. Regarding your past; remember that nothing that has happened is as important as what you are going to do about it. Also, I great deal of our misery comes from wondering what other people think/feel about us. Walk upright with God, and the rest will take care of itself. +Blessings+

    1. Thank you Rose... I hope this is Rose ;-) I read your entry, and I agree with a lot that you had to say. I think that we anthropomorphize "God" that universal ISness so that we can better understand it, relate to it, and I dare say on the part of the church, try to control it. Thank you for being here. Thank you for reading. Please feel free to contribute. +Blessings on you and yours.+ We miss you.

  6. Hey Aaron! I read excerpts here from time to time on G+ or FB. I consider myself an atheist, but feel that its very philosophically healthy to be exposed to other worldviews.
I also appreciate the kind and thoughtful tone you hold throughout.

    Take care!

    P.S. Sympathies for Boo.

    1. Nick,
Thank you for your kind words, and thank you for being here. You are right, it is important to know and understand others viewpoints. We do not have to agree to love and respect one another. "The Lord has many sheep of other flocks" and "Many are the rivers that lead to one ocean" are good words to live by. +Blessings+ my friend.
